A Morning Under the Flight Path
Intent is always working. You can know this in real-time.
Some call this 'manifestation.'
Manifestation can be done from a place of structural achievement, gain, and competition. Or manifestation can be done from a place of love.
This morning, standing on my north-facing deck, I felt it in full motion.
We left a quiet, little spot in Fort Collins where we thought we'd ride out the rest of Cody's high school because the homeowner decided to sell. We moved to Loveland, closer to Cody’s growing list of academic and athletic commitments, and back to a town that had just a few years ago caused me severe anxiety.
Checking my pulse...nope, no charge!
Easy does it, right? This house will work just fine. The owner is fantastic. Our view of Boyd Lake, a Colorado State Park with trails and SUPs and fishing, is beyond gorgeous.
And yet, this house sits directly under multiple flight paths.
At first, I wasn’t sure how I felt about that. But then, I started paying attention.
Every day, movement fills the sky above me—constant, purposeful, aligned. Flights taking off and landing, missions being carried out, life moving forward.
Intent in action.
It’s fucking amazing.
I realized this standing outside at sunrise this morning, watching the sky unfold before me.
To the east, I could see Northern Colorado Regional Airport—commerce, hobby, tradition, expansion, energy with wings.
Then from the southeast, a UCHealth Flight for Life cut into my earshot, heading northwest, responding to uniquely precious moments of life in motion.
Can they get there in time?
My eyes dropped just inches, and I spotted a bald eagle. My 25th? 26th? since Saturday.

I couldn’t tell if it was male or female, but the other migratory birds slicing V's across the sky from the west don’t care, so I don't, either.
Every piece of it—the planes, the medical flights, the birds—is an expression of movement, of intention unfolding. No wasted effort. Just purpose, big and small, shaping the world above and around me.
Energy in motion. E-motion.
Is this really all happening?
I reached out and pulled a few wisps of cool, cotton-candy-colored cloud from in front of me, smelled it, tasted it, took a picture with my mind.
No, I’m not high, but it sure feels like it.
Intent is always working...what does that mean to you?
Where is energy in motion in your life right now?
What is unfolding around you?
Maybe it's big, maybe it's subtle—but it's always happening.
Notice it. Honor it. Lean into it.
And here's an idea...SHARE IT. I'll listen!
